Autumn of 2025, Athens
We invite you to join our next meeting that will be held in Athens in 2025 (exact date will be announced soon)!
The 6th Meeting of HeCrA's Young Researchers will be the first meeting of HeCrA's Young Researchers that will allow senior researchers to attend and provide fruitful advice to the younger.
All students (undergraduate, post-graduate, master students & PhDs) and Post Doctoral researchers in their early stage are welcome to attend and present their work via oral presentations. The recommended topics of discussion are:
Biological Crystallography
Chemical Crystallography
Materials Science Crystallography
Theoretical Methods
Experimental Methods Development
Biological NMR Spectroscopy
Cryo-Electron Microscopy
Powder Diffraction
But also the related sub-topics such as:
Construct design for structural studies
Protein production from heterologous systems
Structure-based Drug Design
Biophysical methods for characterizing macromolecules in solution (e.g. SAXS, DLS)
Crystallization of small molecules
Structural enzymology
In silico Methods (e.g. Molecular Dynamics, Docking)
Invited Speakers
Well established researchers of the field will be invited to give educational presentations in the meeting's topics.

PyMOL Workshop
The meeting's program will also include an educational workshop that will be held by senior researchers. In this session you will be able to learn how to get the most out of the well known molecular visualization system, PyMOL.
You will need to bring your own laptop to actively participate in the workshop.
The exact day and time that it will be held will be announced in the meeting's final program.
Are you a student? Most possibly you have met obstacles in your lab days! In this form you can address to us your unanswered questions and we will provide to you answers from well established scientists of the related field. The questions and their answers will be presented in a Q & A session in our upcoming meeting. For your convenience the questions will be anonymous. There is no shame in seeking answers! It helps us grow!
